| Message for the week of July 9th, 2007 "When the Polk County Health Center opened in 1967, five staff members provided only four programs to Polk County. Now more than 35 free and low-cost programs are provided by 15 staff members to a constantly growing county of more than 29,000. Your vote for good health on August 7 for a minimal tax levy increase of 9 cents will help keep these programs, services, and staff to serve the growing needs of Polk County." |
